On Thursday, December 8, 2016, Senator Moorlach in partnership with the Association of California Cities- Orange County and University of California, Irvine, hosted an educational event featuring two expert panels discussing the impacts of California Propositions 47 & 57. Representatives from the Public Policy Institute of California, the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, Orange County law enforcement, the Legislative Analyst's Office & the American Civil Liberties Union, and Senator Hertzberg discussed the effects of the propositions have had and will have on communities and crime in California.
