Senator Moorlach unpacks the implications of flawed SB 959 - University of California: contracts: bidding (Lara), calling on colleagues to be smarter about fiscal ramifications of legislative bills and money management, and insisting that the fallback plan of going back to taxpayers for tax increases is not the solution. Senator Moorlach concluded his remarks by urging, “This is not a good bill and that’s why Governor Brown vetoed it, or a similar bill, last year.  Colleagues, let’s do what’s right by our students and taxpayers and cast a ‘no’ vote.”
